Choosing Tours

Each tour has a live booking page that shows the from-price, meeting point, duration and cancellation terms before you pay anything. When a tour stops selling, it comes off the roster rather than sitting here as dead weight. Published from-prices run from €14 for a fado show to €220 for a premium private Sintra day, and they are always written in euros with the euro sign.

The selection spans fourteen categories, from Sintra and Cascais day trips to fado evenings, with walking, food, wine, tuk tuk, e-bike and sunset sailing options in between (see 2 Days In Sintra). Grouping trips this way makes side-by-side comparison fair.

Our Limits

No tour on these pages is run by us. Named operators, among them Inside Lisbon and Picta Travel, supply the guides, vans and equipment, and every listing states who would actually take your booking.

Nobody here writes travel diaries. Instead, details are drawn from operator listings plus official published sources.
